Committee Profile<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In DISEC, we will discuss the issue of the weaponization of artificial intelligence and how it poses threats to international security, as well as solutions that can effectively regulate the presence of AI in warfare. Delegates will discuss how, through collaborative efforts, better control of these weapons of mass destruction can be implemented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hello Delegates, my name is Ian Ycasas I serve as Vice Chair of 1st DISEC for SGVMUNIII! I am currently a junior at San Marino High School and for three years, I have competed in my school’s team, where I serve as Vice President for. In addition to MUN, I am also a bass section leader and student conductor for my school’s Chamber Singers, Vice President of my school’s Key Club, an aspiring Eagle Scout, an attorney for my Mock Trial team, and much more. Outside of work, I also enjoy doing musical theatre, building legos, and going to theme parks.
