Hello Delegates! My name is Maanya Sharma and I am super excited to be your Head Chair of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) at SGVMUN II. I am currently a senior at Arcadia High School. I’ve been a part of the Model UN team since my sophomore year, and have greatly enjoyed the bonds I’ve made with countless delegates throughout the many conferences I have attended. This is my very first year serving as a chair in SGVMUN and I couldn’t be more excited to hear about all of your unique perspectives in this committee! I greatly enjoy working out and spent at least half my lifetime in some sort of gymnasium. I also love artists like Chase Atlantic, The Weeknd, and listen to R&B music all the time. I am looking forward to a productive and insightful conference with all of you. I wish you all the best of luck in researching and preparing for UNHRC!

Hello Delegates! My name is Renee Tang, and I am thrilled to be the Co-chair for the UNHRC committee in SGVMUN II! I am a senior at Arcadia High School, and this is my second year in Model UN. Since joining MUN in my junior year, my experience has not only connected me with many like-minded delegates but also sharpened my public-speaking skills. Having benefited immensely from these conferences myself, I am dedicated to ensuring that everyone has a wonderful experience at SGVMUN II. Hello Delegates! My name is Katelyn Tran, and I am honored to be serving as the Legal Chair for this year’s SGVMUN II. This is my first year chairing, and I am excited to meet each and every one of you. This year marks my second year as a team member in Model United Nations. I’ve always enjoyed the thrill of debates and have developed a true passion for them through my involvement in MUN. Currently, I am a junior at Arcadia High School.
