About Shania
Hi delegates! My name is Shania Wong and I am so excited to be your SPECPOL co-chair. I am currently a sophomore at Westridge School and have been participating in Model UN since 6th grade! I’ve always enjoyed going to Model UN conferences and collaborating with others on different solutions, while also getting to dissect important world issues. Last year, I was also a chair for DISEC and enjoyed it so much! It was so amazing to listen to all the discussions and ideas during the committee! Outside of Model UN, I love to play tennis, crochet, bake all types of desserts, and watch movies! I can’t wait to meet you guys and see what solutions and ideas you will bring to committee!

About Ashley
Hello everyone! My name is Ashley Leung and it is an honor for me to be the legal of the SPECPOL committee! I’m a junior at Arcadia High School, and have been in Model UN for almost half a year now. I’m looking forward to meeting each of you and hearing the wonderful ideas and solutions that everyone has proposed to address the political and colonial issues in the world. Though it is my first time chairing, I am beyond thrilled and grateful to be able to have this experience, and can’t wait to see all the opportunities that this project can provide. Aside from Model UN, a few things I enjoy include creating art, listening to music/playing the piano, reading, watching shows and movies, spending time with family and friends, and visiting different places! I am excited to meet everyone soon, and can’t wait for you all to surprise me! 😉
