Committee Profile
Set in 1789, the crisis committee is placed at the center of France’s Estate crisis, as social divisions and political tensions begin to challenge the monarchy. Delegates will represent the 1st & 2nd estates (the clergy and nobility) or the 3rd estate (French commoners) who represented 97% of the population. Whether or not these two sides will be able to compromise over France’s greatest financial troubles will dictate the path for France: will it be a path towards chaos and revolutionary destruction? Or will peace and prosperity prevail for all the classes of France? As delegates, you all will get to decide!

About Srimanvita
Hi delegates! My name is Srimanvita and I am excited to serve as the Head Chair of the First and Second Estates of the Crisis Committee at SGVMUN III! Currently, I am a senior at Arcadia High and this is my fourth year in MUN. Outside of school, I really enjoy reading romance novels, sleeping, and eating. I also love hanging out with my friends and listening to music, especially Gracie Abrams and Enhypen. Hello everyone! My name is Lorin Leung, and I am the crisis vice chair for the First and Second Estates. I am currently a senior at Arcadia High School, and this is my second year participating in Model UN and my first year with SGVMUN. Outside of MUN, I love to go hiking. I try to hike at least once a week with my friends, and so far my favorite trail is the Punch Bowls in Santa Paula. I’ve also been playing badminton for ten years, and I am the current captain of the Arcadia badminton team. I am so eager to meet everyone and learn even more about MUN. See you soon!

Hello! My name is Michelle Shen and I am a senior at Arcadia High School. I am interested in pursuing robotics, computer science, and policy! In my free time, I also enjoy playing guitar, singing, and exploring new places. This will be my 4th year in MUN and I can’t wait to get to know everyone at the upcoming SGVMUN! 🙂

Hi there, I am Alex, Vice Chair for the Third Estate Crisis Committee and a freshman at Temple City High School! I became part of Crisis for its fun, real-time simulations and the excitement of working and helping behind the scenes as the story unfolds. My other hobbies are cross-country running and hiking in our beautiful Angeles National Forest. I hope to major in political science and pursue a career in public service after high school.
