Topic: Challenging Gender-Based Inequalities in the Workforce
Committee Profile
In UNCSW, we will tackle a long-standing global issue regarding gender-based inequalities and norms in the workforce. From wage gaps and barriers to fair opportunities, women across the world continue to face systemic disadvantages at work. Delegates in this committee will explore how prejudice from cultures and policies shape gender inequality in professional spaces.

About Ashley
Greetings, everyone! My name is Ashley Leung, and I’m honored to be the Head Chair of UNCSW! I’m currently a senior at Arcadia High School, and have been involved in MUN for around 2 years now. As a former delegate and chair for SGVMUN I and II, I am more than excited to introduce and chair a new committee to SGVMUN III, UNCSW! I look forward to meeting other delegates who are just as passionate about gender equality and women’s rights. SGVMUN I was my first ever MUN conference, and it was truly an amazing experience, so I hope future delegates can feel inspired by this opportunity and approach it with high hopes as well. Wishing you all the best of luck!
